ADMISSIONS

The Achievement Academy is beneficial for students with diverse learning styles, attention deficits, and challenges in socialization and peer relations, and who would

benefit from a curriculum taught at their competency level and active instruction in social skills and life skills.

The following information describes our Admissions Process.

1. Eligibility:  Review the Eligibility Criteria below prior to proceeding with the next steps.

2. Tour:  Contact us at (702) 260-1814 to schedule a school tour.  Most tours are given at 11:30am, Monday through Friday, in order for parents to view the classrooms and Life Skills Room without interrupting the students and teachers.

3. Paperwork:  An Admissions Application and Tuition Fee Schedule will be provided at the School Tour.  Upon receipt of the completed Admissions Application, requested attachments, and $250 non-refundable application fee, the Admissions Committee will review the documents to determine if your child would be a possible fit for our school and that we have the resources to fit your child’s needs.

4. Student Observation:  We understand that the paperwork does not always accurately reflect the child; therefore, prospective students will participate in school activities for up to five school days.

5. Interview:  After the student observation, an interview is scheduled with the prospective student and the parents.

6. Determination:  After steps 1-5 are completed, the Admissions Committee will make a final determination as to whether the applicant will be accepted into our program.  If we do not believe we have the services for your child, a denial letter will be mailed.

7. Enrollment:  If your child is accepted into our program, an enrollment packet will be mailed to you.

8. Start Date:  After the completed enrollment packet is received, a start date will be determined and the student will begin school!
